Best Canon DSLR Camera For Beginners

Also known as Canon EOS 1300D in Europe is the smallest canon DSLR and best Canon DSLR camera for beginners with a smaller wallet that wants to learn how to take good pictures. It comes with a kit lens (18-55mm) with Image Stabilizer. The APS-C CMOS sensor itself has 18 megapixels what is more than enough if you ask me, 9 autofocus points and an ISO sensitivity from 100-6400. It can even shoot 1080p Full HD videos but I personally wouldn’t use it for that since it doesn’t focus while shooting.

It is WirelessBest Canon DSLR Camera For Beginners

The Canon EOS Rebel T6 is wireless! You ask yourself for what? Or why? Well, now you can take a really nice looking picture and load it in seconds up to your smartphone where you can share it. whether it is Instagram or a stock photography site it makes stuff a lot easier and faster.

The 18-55mm is an actually really good zoom lens, even though it used to be average. It became a Good-Quality lens which is pretty sharp and if don’t have it you should get it. It is an all-rounder for photos because you have the classic 50mm which is perfect for portraits or Beginner macro photography but also 18mm what makes it very good for objects, landscape or just holiday pictures.

Bottom Line

      1. The Canon EOS Rebel T6 is an awesome Photo camera to start out with.
      2. It has picture style programs as well as TV, AV, P and M of course
      3. It has a good quality and is not too complicated to use.
      4. The price performance is also very good and if you still can get a full Kit you should.
      5. But if you want to be able to also make videos in any kind of way you should go for a Canon EOS 77D

I hope you liked my review and if you have any questions, ask me I will be happy to answer to you in no time. 😀

I was truly amazed when I read the part about being able to load pictures directly to your smartphone. I have never heard of a camera being able to do that before.

In today’s world the technology out there allows you to do just about anything. Smartphones have the ability to take great photos now but still cannot compare to what a real camera can do.

So many people now take a photo and are immediately looking to post it onto facebook or instagram. So now that you can upload it quickly to your phone that is truly a game changer!

Yes, I really like this new feature too it comes in very handy if, you have an own blog or an Instagram site or just want to have more beautiful pictures than your friends. 😛 It works very well and fast you can also extent your SD-card memory in the camera like that. I hope I was able to help you with this review. keep it up 🙂

    Hi Aaron,
Great review about this camera Canon EOS Rebel T6 Kit, I have a Canon EOS Rebel T1 and I’m very happy with it. The more I use it and the more I learn about how to use it I find it a great camera.

I see on your review you talk about his camera is now wireless, I mean you can download photos from your camera to your cell phone so you can share them on your Social Media or your own blog or site, I think this is a great help to bloggers, will make their work easier.

I’m starting to work on my camera on making videos and I find the quality great, how about Canon EOS Rebel T6 for videos making?
    Thanks for your help.
    Alejandra.

      Hi Alejandra,
I am more than happy that you liked the review and yes I really like this feature too especially for me since I am very active on the internet. 🙂 I would use your EOS Rebel T1 to make videos with it has in my eyes a really good image quality but you should consider to look for an external microphone since the build in is pretty bad I prefer RØDE they have a really good quality. EOS Rebel T6 is really only for pictures since it doesn’t focus while shooting a video. I hope I was able to help you and wish you all the best for your video. 🙂

      Hey Cyber Trawel,
I would love to help you but I don’t speak polish :/ Do you speak English?

This is Great! I did’nt there was a DSLR out there that is capable of sending photos straight to your phone.

My Father has his own Photography business and I don’t think he even has this capability yet on his EOS. This feature might help him to verify that he has the perfect shot without having to strain to look at a smaller screen.

    Thanks for the great review!

I will have to update him on this feature and point him to your site to learn more about it 🙂

      Hey Eric,
Thank you for you nice feedback and I am happy that I was able to tell you something new. 🙂 It could be really helpful to him and not only this model of Canon is able to do that the Mark III and Mark IV, that he is probably using is also able to do that so It could speed up his work a lot. 🙂

  5. Thanks for your reply! I will have to double check with him what Camera he is currently using. If he doesn’t know about that feature already I will be sure to update him on it 🙂

    1. Aaron

Sweet 🙂 I will be happy to help if you need any information. 🙂

Wow! I have never heard of a camera that can enable you to take pictures, and load them to your smart phone! That, right there, is a high quality selling point! I was also impressed with the size of the camera. I don’t like big, bulky cameras that are heavy. This one may be the perfect size that will enable people to do everything that they need- all in one camera! Thanks so much for the great information!
    Blessings:)

I am glad that I was able to help you out 🙂 And yes, it is not as big as most other dslr’s and the Wi-Fi feature makes it one of my favorite cameras. 🙂

      Cheers

      Aaron.

Great source of info right here! I find it really interesting how this particular camera can wirelessly upload images to your phone. It’s a shame about the video focusing issues though because I was really interested in the video aspect of this camera.

What alternative camera would you recommend to shoot videos that are good quality and can be uploaded to places like Youtube?

  8. Cheryl

Hi Aaron, Great review on the Canon-eos-rebel-t6-it. It is very thorough and sounds like a good camera to have. The idea that you can wirelessly upload your photos from the camera to your phone so quickly is a great thing.

It is great you also get another kit lens along with the kit is good instead of having to buy it separately.

I like the fact that this is a small camera and is suitable for a beginner. Whenever I have to get another camera, I will certainly look at your site before making my decision.

    1. Aaron

I am glad you like it 🙂 and thank you so much for your help so much. 🙂

That is a small camera for a Canon. I didn’t actually know they were known by different names in different countries. Maybe that’s why I’ve been confused about there being so many different models.

I really like the idea of the wireless function on the t6, and being able to transfer photos to a smartphone for instant sharing. Great idea. Sounds like a good starter model for DSLR. I’m looking for a camera for my daughter and prefer Canon.
